Jólakötturinn var hannaður árið 2020 og er gerður úr notuðum barnafötum sem að öðrum kosti hefðu verið send úr landi til niðurvinnslu. 

The Icelandic Yule Cat was designed in 2020. The cat is made out of used childrens clothes that would otherwise be sent abroad for downcycling.
